How to Play Jodi, Andar, Bahar and Crossing
A clear, example-led guide to the four SHUBH91 game types: what each one asks you to pick, when it wins, and how winning points are worked out.
On this page
Every SHUBH91 market declares one 2-digit result a day, anywhere from 00 to 99. The four game types are simply four different ways of guessing that one result. Once you understand them, you understand the whole game.
Throughout this guide we will use the same example result: 47. Its first digit is 4 and its second digit is 7.
Jodi: the exact number
A Jodi (pair) is a full 2-digit number. You pick one number from 00 to 99, and it wins only if it matches the result exactly.
- You play 47 → result is 47 → wins
- You play 74 → result is 47 → does not win (the digits are reversed)
- You play 07 → result is 47 → does not win
Because there are 100 possible results, Jodi is the hardest game type to hit, which is why it has the highest rate.
Andar: the first digit
Andar means "inside", and in SHUBH91 it refers to the first (left) digit of the result. You pick one digit from 0 to 9.
- You play Andar 4 → result 47 → wins
- You play Andar 7 → result 47 → does not win (7 is the second digit)
There are only 10 possible first digits, so Andar wins more often than Jodi and its rate is lower.
Bahar: the second digit
Bahar means "outside" and refers to the second (right) digit of the result. Again you pick one digit from 0 to 9.
- You play Bahar 7 → result 47 → wins
- You play Bahar 4 → result 47 → does not win
Andar and Bahar are independent: you can play both on the same market, and on result 47 an Andar 4 and a Bahar 7 would both win.
Crossing: every pair from your digits
Crossing is a shortcut for playing many Jodi numbers at once. You choose a few digits, and SHUBH91 makes every 2-digit pair from them. Each pair becomes its own Jodi play.
Pick the digits 1, 2 and 3 and you get six pairs:
| Pair | Pair | Pair |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | 13 | 21 |
| 23 | 31 | 32 |
Doubles (11, 22, 33) are optional, so you can include or leave them out. If the result is 23, the pair 23 wins like a normal Jodi; the other pairs do not.
Keep in mind that Crossing multiplies your points: six pairs at 10 points each is 60 points played in total.
How winning points are calculated
Rates in SHUBH91 are quoted per 10 points. A rate of "10 → 900" means a winning 10-point play returns 900 points. The formula for any amount is:
winning points = points played × rate ÷ 10, rounded down to a whole number.
So with a Jodi rate of 10 → 900, a winning 20-point Jodi play returns 1,800 points. The current rates for every game type are shown live on the Game Rules page and inside the app, and winning points are added automatically once the result is declared.
A quick summary
| Game | You pick | Wins when |
|---|---|---|
| Jodi | a number 00–99 | it equals the result |
| Andar | a digit 0–9 | it equals the first digit |
| Bahar | a digit 0–9 | it equals the second digit |
| Crossing | several digits | any pair made from them equals the result |
